Our Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Zimbabwe Information Centre Inc met in Sydney this week to review the experience of the March 31, 2005 parliamentary elections.
We share your anger and frustration at the giant abuse of the people's will that happened with these elections.
As a result of this discussion, we renewed our commitment to continue to provide moral and material support to MDC and the grassroots democratic movement in Zimbabwe.
We are confident that MDC can consolidate the enthusiasm for democratic change which the people expressed in their huge numbers during the election campaign. We believe that the Mugabe regime will have great difficulty in its plan to change the Constitution, and in dealing with the shocking economic collapse which the people are suffering.
And we are confident that MDC will renew itself for the coming period at its planned Congress.
