Mbare MP arrested
Honourable Munyanyi (Mbare East) was arrested today, barely two days after Roy Bennet the MP of Chimanimani and Tom Spicer, a provincial youth leader was arrested.
Munyanyi was arrested at his home in Mbare at about 5am and was taken to Room 87 of the Law and Order section at the Harare Central Police station.
This clearly shows that the police have gone out of their way to prove their laziness as they cannot investigate first, and then make an arrest. The police force have no interest in upholding the law they purport to represent as they continue their wanton arrests and torture sanctioned by the illegitimate regime at "State House".
We deplore this treatment of MDC officials and members. Although this is an attempt to muzzle the MDC, Mugabe and his crooks must realize that he cannot stop an idea whose time has arrived.
