What we Have Been Told Behind The Scenes About How Jongwe was Killed By The State
On Tuesday morning we were told that Jongwe had been taken out of his cells on Monday evening by the zrp to verify his statement for his case which was set for November 25 2002. He was taken to central for that exercise.
When they fininshed with him, he was then taken by the cio for interogation. We were told that there 5 stages of torture by cio thro which Jongwe was put. If you are put thro the 5 you actually die by the time you reach the 5th.
He was badly tortured and killed in torture. His naked body was then thrown back into the cell by 4am. We were given this story by someone at 6am two hours later, who claimed they would have told us earlier but were lost finding our places.
We asked why he was killed and ofcourse there are several explanations none of which can stand alone but the truth is that it goes back to the whole mystery of the whole stabbing of the wife annd her subsequent death.
There have always been many stories around that one. There are serious political reasons why Jongwe, George Ndlovu have had to be killed by the state. You know that Munyanyi MP for Mbare is now in custody on trumped up charges of murder. There are 18 MDC MPs on serious trumped up charges right now awaiting trial.
Mugabe has agreed to go. before he goes, he wants to do an arap moi consitutional ammendment, in parliament, to enable him as president to appoint an heir, emmerson, who then will serve the rest of mugbe's term of office as president. In that time emmerson would create a dictatorship that would allow him to do his two terms of office as president on top of the one he completes for the present president. To make this constitutional ammendment mugabe requires 8 MDC seats to become zanu/pf so that he can get his two thirds majority when the clause comes into parliamment for ammendment.
In Kuwadzana the seat can be rigged properly if the squatters at whitecliffe farm just outside harare are added again to the to that electoral seat so that zanu/pf can rig that seat for themselves in a bi election. Solomon Tawengwa and tony gara are already campaigning in Mbare for Munyanyi's seat.
They have assured that he is to die in jail, like Jongwe. The list goes on.
The period we are in is very dangerous here at home. The regime is desperate. We need to work carefully and calmly. Right now we are being told by cio sources to go into the mass action. That is what the regime wants, so that they can kill many and arrest even more and kill these in other ways. We have put a plan of action, MDC in tradition which is much more effective. We will stay focussed on the Insiza by election, bury our hero Garfield Todd and we will then turn our full attention to our son, Learnmore and give him a fitting burial which the world will never forget.
May Learnmore Jongwe's Soul Finally Rest in Eternal Peace.
